A man who was killed in a shooting at an apartment in East Oakland early Sunday morning has been identified by police as Davante Riley.

The victim, who had recently turned 18, was shot at 2257 E. 20th St., at 12:14 a.m., police said.

He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Officers identified a possible suspect, a girl, and took her into custody.
