Gold-toothed woman wanted for armed robbery in South City

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO — A South San Francisco woman was allegedly robbed Monday by a woman with a gold tooth who threatened to stab her if she didn't hand over her gold jewelry, police said.
The incident happened between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. as the 48-year-old victim was walking at the corner of Linden and Grand avenues.
The woman told police another woman came up behind her and asked for directions, and handed her a piece of paper with an address written on it.
The suspect walked behind her and then pressed a sharp object into her back and threatened to stab her if she screamed, according to police. She then demanded the woman hand over her jewelry.
After the victim gave the suspect five 14-carat gold bracelets, the female suspect then snapped a gold necklace off the woman's neck. She fled north on Fourth Lane when a friend of the victim approached, police said.
The woman described the suspect as a 35-year-old Hispanic woman, about 5 feet 3 inches tall and 150 pounds, with tan skin and very short black hair resembling a boy's haircut. She had brown eyes and moles on her face, and a gold-capped tooth on the upper right side of her mouth.
