Seth Meyers was arrested for allegedly fatally shooting 43-year-old Daniel Colon and wounding 34-year-old Andrew Colon.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Crocker-Amazon shooting early Monday that killed a beloved father and wounded his cousin.

Seth Myers, a San Francisco resident, was arrested at a residence on Rolph Street, which is near the crime scene, about 7:15 p.m. Monday, police said.

Police have not said what led to Myers’ arrest. They believe he shot and killed 43-year-old Daniel Colon and wounded 34-year-old Andrew Colon at 12:03 a.m. in the 1100 block of Naples Street.

The cousins had been walking home from the Broken Record bar, where they had been celebrating the 49ers’ NFC title game victory Sunday.

Throughout Monday, dozens of family, friends and neighbors who knew and loved Daniel Colon stopped by a memorial set up at the crime scene. They described the father — who leaves behind an 11-year-old son — as a kind and generous person who would not have beef with anyone or be involved with weapons.

Police are asking anyone with additional information regarding the incident to contact Inspector Robert Velarde, Sgt. Scott Warnke or Sgt. Kyra Delaney at (415) 553-1145.
