A woman in her late 20s was wounded when someone opened fire from a vehicle in The City’s Visitacion Valley neighborhood early Sunday, police said.

The shooting was reported at about 3 a.m. at the corner of Visitacion Avenue and Schwerin Street, according to police.

A preliminary report indicates a suspect from a vehicle fired on another vehicle, and the woman was hit in the right arm, police said. She was taken to the hospital and reported to be in stable condition.

No suspect information was immediately available, and no arrests were made.
