At least he can catch a court date.
Raiders wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey, 25, is scheduled to be arraigned in a San Francisco courtroom Thursday on DUI charges, prosecutors said.
Heyward-Bey was pulled over by the California Highway Patrol on April 7 for allegedly speeding and weaving on the Bay Bridge near Treasure Island. The football star was driving his 2012 Range Rover about 2 a.m., Officer Tony Tam said.
He failed field sobriety tests after the traffic stop, which happened on the San Francisco side of the bridge, police said.
Prosecutors have charged Heyward-Bey with two misdemeanors for driving under the influence and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 or higher. He could face up to six months in jail if convicted.
The Raiders picked Heyward-Bey in the first round of the 2009 draft. He then signed a five-year contract worth $38 million.
