A candlelight vigil for a San Francisco cop who was fatally shot while chasing a suspect in the Outer Sunset district five years ago is scheduled for tonight.
The vigil honoring Officer Bryan Tuvera will start at 7 p.m. at Lawton Street and 25th Avenue, near to where the 28-year-old cop was killed Dec. 22, 2006, according to police.
The memorial has been held annually, but this will be the final year as cops and Tuvera’s family move on from the tragedy.
Tuvera was shot while pursuing an escapee wanted on a felony warrant.
