Public Defender Jeff Adachi Thursday unveiled new accusations of misconduct by San Francisco police officers.

Adachi’s latest surveillance video release to media including a depiction of a Richmond District merchant being detained during an Aug. 16, 2011 police investigation that Adachi said constituted excessive force.

Adachi also detailed five other incidents in which citizens’ personal property and money were allegedly stolen by Mission District officers executing search warrants or making arrests.

He said complaints have been filed against the officers with the Office of Citizen Complaints, and called for a new “zero-tolerance” policy on police misconduct from the Police Department.
