Hayward police Wednesday morning announced that they have made an arrest in the case of Michelle Le, the 26-year-old San Mateo nursing student who went missing in May.
Le disappeared on May 27 from Kaiser Permanente Hayward Medical Center.
Her family has offered a $100,000 reward for her return or for information on her whereabouts. Police have classified the case as a homicide but her family has held out hope for her safe return.
Hayward police are holding a news conference at 2:15 p.m. Wednesday to release more information about the arrest.
