TMZ said it obtained a video showing Giants fan Brian Stow apparently being harassed by a Dodgers fan not long before he was viciously assaulted after the game in Los Angeles on Opening Day.

In the video, Stow is seated during the game at Dodger Stadium and brushing off an enraged LA fan who is not 31-year-old Giovanni Ramirez, the main suspect in the assault case. TMZ claims Los Angeles police confirmed the man being harassed is Stow.

The 42-year-old father of two from Santa Cruz was attacked by two thugs after the rivalry game. Stow has been in a medically induced coma since the March 31 attack.

Ramirez, who claims he has an alibi to prove he wasn’t at the game, has not been charged in connection with the attack but has been sent back to prison on a parole violation.

Last week, the chief of neurosurgery at San Francisco General Hospital, where Stow is being treated, said Stow has been upgraded from critical condition to serious condition.

But he is “far from out of the woods in his recovery,” Dr. Geoff Manley said.
