Two men died following a Saturday evening shooting in San Francisco’s Bernal Heights neighborhood, while another remains in the hospital with injuries not considered life-threatening, police said.

After responding at 7:23 p.m. to reports of gunfire at 192 Appleton Ave., near Holly Park, San Francisco Police officers found three male gunshot victims in the street and courtyard. According to police, all three victims were described as Asian.

The first victim, 21, died shortly after the incident, while the 26-year-old later died at the hospital after sustaining life-threatening injuries, police Sgt. Mike Andraychak said. The third victim, 30, was also taken to the hospital but his injuries were described non-life-threatening.

Several people were detained near the scene, but no arrests have been made, Andraychak said.
