Two boys were shot in the legs in a drive-by shooting in San Francisco's Hayes Valley neighborhood this evening, according to police.

A group of boys were standing at a bus stop near Hayes and Buchanan streets at about 9 p.m., when a gold-colored 4-door car approached and one or more suspects in the car fired at the boys, police said.

Two victims in the group were struck in the legs. One was taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening, according to police.

The other boy ran away and police have been unable to locate him.

No arrests have been made.

It is unclear if the shooting was gang-related.

No other information was immediately available.
