A man was shot in the leg in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood on Sunday night, a police spokesman said.

Police received reports of gunfire in the 400 block of Ellis Street, near Jones Street, at about 8:30 p.m., Officer Albie Esparza said Monday.

Responding officers found a 50-year-old man who had been shot once in the leg, Esparza said. That injury was not considered life-threatening.

Esparza said the victim refused to cooperate with authorities, and police do not have a suspect description.
