Man shot in Tenderloin suffers life-threatening injury

San Francisco police are on the lookout for a suspect responsible for shooting a man on the street Sunday night, according to a San Francisco police official.

At about 9:12 p.m., dispatchers received multiple calls about a shooting at the corner of Larkin and O’Farrell streets, Officer Albie Esparza said.

Police arrived on scene and found one man who had been shot in the torso, Esparza said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with life-threatening injuries, Esparza said.
