A San Francisco man found dead in his Mission district apartment Monday was murdered and cops have hauled in a suspect, police said.

The death of a 32-year-old man in his Mission district apartment is being investigated as a homicide, and police have already nabbed a suspect.

Police found Oliver Carter dead in his apartment in the 400 block of Valencia Street at 11:55 a.m. Monday.

Homicide investigators are not discussing how Carter died, but a  suspect in the case was arrested Monday, Lt. Troy Dangerfield said.

James Warren, 53, of San Francisco, has been arrested on murder charges in connection with Carter’s death, police spokesman Officer Albie Esparza said Tuesday. Police did not say what led to the arrest.

The death is the 48th homicide this year in San Francisco, according to police.
