A shooting Tuesday night in San Francisco’s Bayview district that left an 18-year-old man dead may have been the result of gang violence, police said Wednesday.
The victim was identified by the Medical Examiner’s Office as Maurice Williamson, of San Francisco.
Police responded to the 200 block of Cashmere Street at about 7:45 p.m. and found Williams outside, a police spokesman said Tuesday night. He had been shot in the head.

No arrests have been made, and no suspect description was available.
