Bad parenting:
On Oct. 27, an officer responded to the 200 block of Golden Gate Avenue regarding a parent being abusive to her child. Upon arrival, a witness pointed to a drunken woman with children and also pushing a stroller with a baby inside.
The witness told the officer the woman had given away the children’s dinner. The children were visibly upset and began to cry.
An investigation revealed that the mother was abusing and assaulting the children. The children were taken into protective custody and the mother was arrested.
