Police investigate naked carjacking

Two men were forced to strip naked at gunpoint before being robbed and carjacked in the Mission district Sunday, police Officer Albie Esparza said.The two victims, men aged 34 to 40, were sitting in their car at Sycamore and San Carlos streets about 9 p.m. when two more men between the ages of 18 and 20 held them up at gunpoint.

Man shot on seedy Sixth Street

A man was shot in the arm on Sixth Street early this morning, police said. The 56-year-old told police he was sitting in front of a hotel in the 100 block of Sixth Street at about 2 a.m. when he heard a gunshot and felt the sting from the bullet. He was transported to San Francisco General Hospital and is expected to survive, police said. No arrest has been reported. The victim said he didn’t know the shooter. A suspect description was not immediately available.

A man who filmed the aftermath of a controversial officer-involved shooting in the Bayview district two years ago, then later blasted cops in a TV interview over the incident, was killed Wednesday in the same neighborhood. Trivon Dixon, 27, of Rodeo was fatally shot about 3:45 p.m. while sitting in a car in the first block of Whitney Young Circle, Officer Albie Esparza said.

Transient stabbed in battle for Buena Vista Park

A man was stabbed in the back in Buena Vista Park on Wednesday during an argument over “who the park belonged to,” police said. Officers reportedly responded to the public park bordering Haight Street at about 9:30 a.m. and found the 23-year-old man suffering from a stab wound that was not life threatening.
