Pal stabbed 'for no reason'

A man said his drinking buddy stabbed him in his chest seven times for no good reason, San Francisco police said. Police spoke to the man after he showed up at San Francisco General Hospital with his injuries Saturday. He is in stable condition, police said. The man told cops he had no idea why his pal knifed him. The attack happened in the area of Mission Street and Virginia Avenue around 1:30 a.m., he told police. The pal ditched him after the attack, police said.

Off-hours office visit ends in robbery

A woman was threatened with a screwdriver and robbed by a man in his office just after midnight Tuesday, police said. An 18-year-old woman met a 28-year-old man at his office in the 900 block of Battery Street, cops said. The man then made sexual advances toward the woman, who decided to leave, police said. The creep brandished a screwdriver and took her money, cops said. He fled the scene but was found and arrested, police said.

A gun-toting man robbed a cafe on Ocean Avenue on Tuesday, police said.The robber entered the cafe in the 2500 block, near the intersection of Junipero Serra Boulevard, around 8:20 p.m., police said.He showed employees a silver revolver that was in a holster, then demanded that they open the register, police said.He fled the cafe with an untold amount of cash. Bandits strongarm employees to open safe

A business on the 1600 block of Tennessee Street was robbed Wednesday, cops said. Two men in their early 30s were allowed into the business around 2:50 p.m., when one of them pulled out a gun and ordered one of the four employees there to open the safe, police said. The crooks grabbed blank checks, cash and debit card and fled in a green Chevy, cops said. No one was injured in the incident and no arrests have been made.

Teens rob 15-year-old’s cash, books

Two teenage punks robbed a 15-year-old girl Wednesday afternoon — and they didn’t just steal her cash and cell phone, but also some books, police said. The young men, ages 17 or 18, followed the girl as she walked home near the intersection of Mission and Silver streets around 2:45 p.m., police said. One of the punks grabbed hold of the girl while the other took her belongings, cops said. The girl lost money, her cell phone a debit card and books, police said.
