A man was searched by a pair of imposter cops armed with badges and handcuffs who thought he had drugs in San Francisco on Thursday, police said.The man had just dropped his daughter off at school and had parked at home in the 800 block of Brunswick Street when the attempted robbery occurred.
A punk panhandler punctured a driver’s tire with a knife on Van Ness Avenue last week, police said.The panhandler was peeved when the driver said he didn’t have money at the Bush Street intersection on Jan. 17 around 9:15 p.m., police said. The boiling beggar reacted by banging on the driver’s window, they said.The driver called cops, but that only made the panhandler angrier. The suspect whipped out a knife and put a hole in the tire, police said.
A 14-year-old girl was caught shoplifting at Stonestown Mall on Thursday, police said.The young girl entered a store in the mall around 4 p.m. and began placing items into her bag, cops said. She then left the store without paying. A 22-year-old security guard was kicked in his attempt to apprehend the girl, police said.

A 29-year-old woman was carjacked near Geary Boulevard and 24th Avenue early Friday morning by a man she met only hours earlier, police said. The woman was driving the 35-year-old man home around 2:30 a.m., cops said. When the man started smoking, she asked him to get out of the car, but he refused. The woman then got out of the car with the keys. The man also got out, snatched the keys, then began to drive off, police said.
A 19-year-old woman was stabbed six times in the back after an argument in the Bayview district Thursday, police said.The woman is expected to survive the attack in the 1200 block of Lane Street.The victim and suspect knew each other, police said. A knife-wielding dad was arrested Monday after allegedly attacking a driver who came close to running over him and his son, police said.
The father and his boy were crossing Page Street at Masonic Avenue around 6:55 p.m. when the motorist braked hard to avoid hitting them, police said.
The father had words with the motorist outside the car. They pushed each other, then the dad whipped out a knife and chased after the motorist.
Two people were injured in separate shootings in the Bayview district Wednesday night, police said.
Around 6 p.m., a 17-year-old boy walking on the sidewalk in the 200 block of Harbor Road was hurt in a drive-by shooting.
Nearly five hours later, a 21-year-old woman was injured while in a home in the 1500 block of Kirkwood Avenue. A gunman fired a shotgun into the residence, shattering glass, police said.
Both victims are expected to survive, police said.
