An intruder got an unpleasant peppery surprise when she crawled into a sixth floor apartment Wednesday, police said. The resident of the apartment pepper-sprayed the 33-year-old woman who tried to break-in at around 4:30 p.m., police said. The suspect entered through the patio, which she accessed via the roof, cops said.The 56-year-old resident of the apartment was none-too-happy to see the stranger, police said.

A man went into a park playground and hung out by a pond on Saturday. Only problem? He apparently forgot that he was still in his car, police said.The allegedly drunken driver drove into a playground at McLaren Park at around 2:20 a.m., according to police at Ingleside Station. An apparently crabby cabbie beat and robbed a Haight-Ashbury woman after she disputed the taxi fare on Sunday, the woman told police.The woman said she was being dropped off at Scott and Haight streets around 5:10 a.m. when she told the taxi driver the fare wasn’t fair.She left the car and began walking away when the cabbie “chased her on foot, pushed her to the ground, beat her and took her wallet and keys,” police said.
A 28-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries during a bar melee in Bernal Heights on Sunday, police said.
Around 11:15 p.m. a bar fight erupted at a bar at Mission Street and Richland Avenue between the victim and three others. The fight spilled out onto the street and one of the suspects stabbed the man with an unknown weapon multiple times in the back of the head, according to the San Francisco Police Department.
A woman who was robbed escaped with only the loss of her rings after a man held a knife to her throat.
The 27-year-old woman was approached from behind in the 500 block of Treat Street by an unknown man around 8:30 p.m., according to the San Francisco Police Department.
The brazen thief placed a knife to her throat and demanded her money, police said.
