A woman who was robbed escaped with only the loss of her rings after a man held a knife to her throat.
The 27-year-old woman was approached from behind in the 500 block of Treat Street by an unknown man around 8:30 p.m., according to the San Francisco Police Department.
The brazen thief placed a knife to her throat and demanded her money, police said.
A 35-year-old man was robbed, duped, robbed again and then beaten on Thursday by two merciless hooligans, cops said.

Two men were stabbed Monday evening outside a Popeye’s Chicken fast food restaurant in the Mission neighborhood, according to police, but it is unclear what the fight was over.

Three people were the victims of armed robbers Wednesday night, cops said. One robbery occurred in the 900 block of Filbert Street around 7 p.m. A 29-year-old man and 26-year-old woman were approached from behind by a suspect in his 20s who pushed a gun into the male victim’s back and demanded money, police said. The victims complied and turned over their wallet and purse with contents, police said. The bandit fled.
