Man bloodied by baseball bat during robbery

A man was beaten with a baseball bat early Sunday morning during a robbery in the 1600 block of Bayshore Avenue, police said.

The man was taken to a hospital with a bruised head, a bloody nose and abrasions to his arm and back. The thugs escaped.
