BART passengers are dealing with delays this morning due to an equipment problem that occurred at 6:37 a.m. on the tracks near the Bay Fair station, BART officials said.

There are major delays on the three lines that pass through Bay Fair station. There are no bus bridges and BART officials do not have an estimate as to when the issue will be resolved.

BART officials say the equipment problem is unrelated to an earthquake that occurred today at 5:36 a.m. in Berkeley.
