Two small quakes rattle San Francisco Bay Area

Two small earthquakes were reported in the Bay Area on Sunday evening.

A 3.5 magnitude quake centered 3 miles north-northeast of San Leandro occurred around 8:08 p.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

Around three minutes later, a 2.3 magnitude quake occurred 3 miles west of the San Francisco Zoo.
