An attempted robbery has developed into a homicide investigation after a man was shot to death Sunday afternoon, Oakland police said.
Officers responded to the shooting at 103rd Avenue and International Boulevard around 12:55 p.m. and found the man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, Oakland police Officer Kevin McDonald said.
He was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries, McDonald said.
Police have not arrested any suspects and no further information was immediately available.
