Anyone unfamiliar with the rash of questionable decisions made by BART in recent weeks now has access to a tidy recap of the events — courtesy of a quirky new digital video featuring Robocop-style police officers and Guy Fawkes-inspired protestors.

Taiwanese-based NMA TV, which has a history of picking up on San Francisco news stories, released a one-minute animated short detailing the past six weeks of BART’s troubles.

In one scene of the video, militarized officers systematically shoot down 45-year-old Charles Hill, drawing the ire of masked protestors. In another scene, an agency official (who closely resembles spokesman Linton Johnson) dramatically presses a button to shut down all cell phone service, much to the dismay of BART passengers. The subsequent protests and reprisals are also depicted in the video, including one reference to the French woman who claimed responsibility for the latest cyber attack on the agency.

Like the other videos released by NMA TV, the BART animated short is filled with plenty of macabre humor, although we suspect that the transit agency won’t be laughing too hard at the production.
