Man killed in East Oakland shooting identified

A man who died after being shot in East Oakland on Thursday night was identified today as 20-year-old Ezra Flowers, of Oakland.

Flowers was killed in a shooting reported at 9:51 p.m. Thursday in the 7100 block of International Boulevard.

Oakland police initially said Flowers’ injuries were not considered life-threatening, but he was pronounced dead on Friday night.

Oakland police haven’t released details about the shooting.
