BART passengers travelling to The City from the Peninsula will have the chance to pick up a little extra reading material for the ride starting Thursday.
Working with the Peninsula Library System, BART is set to offer book-lending machines at its Millbrae station. Anyone with a library card from the Peninsula can check out an array of titles available at the machine, called Library-a-Go-Go. BART has already set up similar systems at some of its East Bay stations.
BART board member Joel Keller and several other local officials will unveil the new machine at a 10:30 a.m. ceremony at the Millbrae Station on Thursday.
