President Barack Obama has left the Bay Area after a whirlwind visit that included a town hall meeting at Facebook headquarters and two appearances at fundraisers in San Francisco.

Air Force One took off from San Francisco International Airport at 10:36 a.m.

The president arrived at the airport in a black limousine this morning. He exited the car and jogged up the stairs to Air Force One at 10:23 a.m., smiling and waving before disappearing inside.

Obama attended a breakfast fundraiser this morning at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco’s South of Market neighborhood, which snarled downtown traffic for several hours.

He arrived in the Bay Area on Wednesday afternoon and held an online town hall meeting at Facebook headquarters in Palo Alto then attended a fundraiser at the Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco on Wednesday night.

He is now headed to Reno, Nev.
