The body of a 20-year-old woman who had been reported missing the day before was found Sunday morning, according to San Bruno police.
Police said Leonie Scott was found at 8:25 a.m. Sunday, but officers would not release further details.
She was last seen Saturday morning when she returned home after having a verbal argument with her boyfriend, according to police. After telling her mother about the argument, Scott left the house without her purse or car.
A missing “at risk” adult alert was released Saturday morning.
The San Mateo County Coroner’s Office confirmed the body was Scott. No other information was released.
