After some sunny days, San Francisco will likely see a bit of rain Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.

A slight chance of rain was expected during the morning and a 60-percent chance in the afternoon as the tail-end of a storm system hitting the Pacific Northwest passed over the Bay Area, NWS forecaster Diana Henderson said.

“Not much more than light rain,” Henderson said.

Through the weekend, the skies will be partly to mostly cloudy, with wet weather possibly returning on Sunday. Expect more rain toward the middle of next week, Henderson said.
