A SWAT team is responding to an incident near the corner of West Market Street and San Pedro Road in Daly City on Monday.
The atmosphere at the scene is quiet, with onlookers watching and waiting outside of the yellow police tape, said Emily Haag, an employee at a nearby Walgreens on San Pedro Road.
The SWAT team’s focus seems to be on a house near Catch 22, a beauty salon on West Market Street, Haag said.
She said SWAT team members have their guns drawn and seem to have them trained on either the second or third house down from the intersection.
Police have not disclosed what prompted the SWAT response.
