USGS: Minor earthquake hit in Los Angeles Area

LOS ANGELES — The U.S. Geological Survey says a small earthquake struck late Saturday night about 55 miles east of downtown Los Angeles.

The magnitude 3.1 quake hit at 10:54 p.m. about two miles west northwest of Loma Linda.

There were no reports of injury or damage.
