Why: With Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” the unofficial song and mantra of the 2010 Giants postseason, the former frontman has had a resurgence. Perry’s golden tonsils still rev up a crowd — as evidenced at games where he gave impromptu performances to singalongs and standing ovations. The icing on this crooner’s holiday cake may be an offer to sing intentionally ... scheduled ... somewhere with a stage ... where fans are there specifically to see him.
