Blue Angels land for Fleet Week

The Blue Angels, the Navy’s flight-demonstration squad, will descend in formation into San Francisco International Airport today, a few days before the team’s performances during San Francisco Fleet Week 2008, which will feature events beginning with Blue Angels flight practice Thursday and lasting through the weekend, organizers said. Fleet Week brings together the Navy, Marines Corp and Coast Guard to offer air shows, ship tours, a parade and festivals.
