Globetrotters star dribbles into town

SAN FRANCISCO — The Harlem Globetrotters’ Bucket Blakes will show off his skills and sign autographs today at the Powell Street BART station to promote the Globetrotters’ upcoming games in the Bay Area. The 6-foot-2-inch Blakes will appear from 1:30 to 2 p.m. at the station near the eastern fare gates. Besides demonstrating his dribbling skills, Blakes will also give out tickets to the team’s upcoming Bay Area games.
