21-year-old SF man was the victim of Saturday’s crash

A 21-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a crash with a sport utility vehicle early Saturday morning in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood has been identified by the medical examiner Sunday as Nikolas Pavelic.

The crash was reported at 12:47 a.m. at Quintara Street and 48th Avenue, according to San Francisco police Officer Samson Chan.

Pavelic, who lived in The City, was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, Chan said. The driver of the SUV was not injured.

The driver of the SUV was not arrested, Chan said, and the circumstances of the crash remain under investigation.
