The Social Club in the Presidio will now have foie gras as a staple menu item.

It turns out there’s at least one place in San Francisco where diners can gorge themselves on engorged liver.

The restaurant announced Monday that due to the fact that it’s located on federal land in the Presidio, it is exempt from the new state ban on foie gras.

This weekend, to celebrate Bastille Day, the Social Club plans to serve foie gras — and it will become a menu staple.
