President Obama came to San Francisco immediately following his visit to Aurora, Colo., where he spoke with victims and family members of the recent shooting tragedy.

President Barack Obama touched down in San Francisco Sunday evening for a brief fundraising visit, following a stop in Colorado to mourn the victims of a mass movie theater shooting that left 12 dead Friday.

President Obama, who was originally scheduled to arrive in the Bay Area on today, arrived at San Francisco International Airport at 8:15 p.m. Sunday.

His campaign schedule changed to accommodate a visit yesterday in Aurora, Colo., to speak at a vigil for victims of a fatal shooting there during a midnight screening of the film "The Dark Knight Rises" Friday.

The president will then head to Reno, Nev., Monday morning from SFO around 11:25 a.m. for a fundraising event before returning to the Bay Area, according to the White House Press Office.

He is scheduled to arrive at Oakland International Airport around 3 p.m. Monday, according to the executive press office.

As part of his Bay Area schedule, the president will speak at an event at Oakland's Fox Theater and later visit a private home in Piedmont.

Tuesday morning around 10 a.m. Obama will leave from San Francisco International Airport to head to Portland, Ore., to continue his campaigning for re-election this November.
