Teenager rescued from cliffside in Seacliff neighborhood of San Francisco

A 16-year-old was rescued from a cliff in San Francisco's Seacliff neighborhood Friday afternoon, according to a fire department dispatcher.

Firefighters were called around 2:45 p.m. to the 300 block of Sea Cliff Avenue near China Beach on a report of a person, possibly a child, stuck on a rock, the dispatcher said.

The address of the rescue location was later corrected to 300 El Camino Del Mar.

The person was reportedly in a safe location but unable to get down, the dispatcher said.

The 16-year-old was rescued from the cliff and taken to California Pacific Medical Center with minor injuries, the dispatcher said.
