Pac-12 to break ground on new studios in San Francisco

Mayor Ed Lee will be on hand today when construction begins for Pac-12 Enterprises new offices in San Francisco.

Pac-12 Enterprises will begin construction today on its new offices in San Francisco.

Pac-12 Studios at 370 Third St. will be home to the Pac-12 Network and the Pac-12 Digital Network, which will broadcast 850 live sporting events each year as well as original programming, officials said.

Construction will begin at 11 a.m. with the erection of the first wall and demolition work on another wall.

The event will be attended by officials including Mayor Ed Lee, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott, Pac-12 Enterprises President Gary Stevenson and former Pac-12 athletes including Jennifer Azzi, Ronnie Lott, Marshawn Lynch, Kim Oden, JT Snow and Teri McKeever.
