BART is experiencing major delays on its Daly City line heading into the evening commute.

The transit agency announced delays on the Daly City line in the East Bay direction due to an equipment problem on a train.

As of 5:45 p.m. the transit agency said it was still experiencing 10-minute delays as it recovered from the problem.
