Occupy Oakland is expected to get a jolt of star power today from actor and San Francisco native Danny Glover.

Glover is scheduled to lead a “Jobs Not Cuts” march from Laney College to a rally at the Oscar Grant Plaza, according to the protest’s website, www.occupyoakland.com.

The "Lethal Weapon" star previously affirmed his solidarity with the Wall Street protesters by making an appearance at an Occupy LA rally Oct. 8.

Which begs the question: Why no love for S.F., Danny Glover?

Occupy SF protesters have been camping outside and marching through the streets of Glover’s hometown since September.

Oakland jumped on the protesters’ bandwagon Oct. 8.

The protests are in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street, in New York City, which began in September.
