The San Francisco medical examiner's office has identified a man killed Saturday by a train in the city's Bayview district as 30-year-old Brandon Swain.

Swain, a San Francisco resident, was struck on the tracks by southbound Caltrain No. 440 near Jerrold Avenue about 5:30 p.m., Caltrain spokeswoman Christine Dunn said.

Trains in both directions were delayed for about an hour.

The incident remains under investigation.
