The California Highway Patrol has cleared a crash involving as many as seven vehicles that blocked a portion of U.S. Highway 101 for nearly an hour Monday afternoon.
The crash was reported at about 3:20 p.m. on southbound Highway 101 just north of Cesar Chavez, CHP Officer Kevin Bartlett said.
One vehicle overturned, blocking the two right lanes until about 4:20 p.m., Bartlett said.
No one was seriously injured, Bartlett said.
Traffic remained heavy in the area as of 4:25 p.m., and motorists were advised to use southbound Interstate Highway 280 to leave San Francisco.
