A San Francisco woman is battling life-threatening injuries after falling 15-20 feet from a wall overlooking a city BART station, according to police Sgt. Michael Andraychak.

The 51-year-old woman was reportedly standing on a high wall surrounding the Civic Center BART station when she lost her balance, Andraychak said.

Her fall was reported around 4 p.m. Tuesday afternoon

The woman was unconscious when she was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, according to Andraychak.
