A number of San Francisco mayoral candidates will participate in a panel discussion and question-and-answer session tonight in The City’s Sunset district.

Candidates expected to participate include John Avalos, Michela Alioto-Pier, David Chiu, Bevan Dufty, Tony Hall, Dennis Herrera, Joanna Rees, Phil Ting and Leland Yee.

The event, organized by the San Francisco Irish American Democratic Club, will take place at the United Irish Cultural Center at 2700 45th Ave.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the panel discussion begins at 7 p.m. Admission is free, but those planning to attend are asked to RSVP to forum4mayor@hotmail.com.
