The atypical deluge of rain that drenched the Bay Area on Tuesday will be but a distant memory during the Fourth of July weekend.

Revelers can expect clear skies and warm weather while gawking at fireworks shows Monday, according to the National Weather Service.

“So far it’s looking like it’s going to be pretty much mostly clear on Monday,” forecaster Diana Henderson said Thursday.

Even better, warm and dry weather will be on tap for the entire weekend through midweek next week, Henderson said.

In The City on Monday, there’ll be some clouds in the morning with patchy fog on the coast, but that will clear by afternoon, she said.

Temperatures will warm up into the 70s in The City, the 80s on the Peninsula and the 90s in the East Bay.

It will be rather dry, however, so lighting off fireworks illegally is “probably not a great idea, pretty much like every year,” Henderson said.
