An inbound Muni N-Judah light-rail train T-boned a city dump truck in the Inner Sunset district Tuesday morning.
There appeared to be no injuries in the collision on Ninth Street between Irving and Judah streets around 8:15 a.m.

The light-rail vehicle struck a city-owned dump truck lugging a brush chipper. Damage was minimal, a passenger said. The light-rail car was safely evacuated and taken out of service. Muni dispatched at least one shuttle bus after the accident.
The light-rail vehicle was rolled back about 10 feet to allow the truck to be moved to the side of the street. The out of service train then continued on the track, presumably headed for repairs.
