Thousands of firefighters from San Francisco and around the nation will attend the funeral of Anthony Valerio and Vincent Perez.
The two San Francisco firefighters died from injuries sustained while battling a two-alarm blaze in the Diamond Heights neighborhood last week. It is the first time in over 50 years that more than one firefighter died while battling a single blaze.
The memorial is being held at St. Mary's Cathedral in San Francisco. Afterword a procession will proceed to Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma.
